USA Staycationers will Travel Less in 2022: Economic Conditions the Cause

According to a recent study, USA staycationers will travel less in 2022. The study found that the main reason for this is economic conditions. Nearly 60% of those surveyed said they would take fewer trips due to financial concerns, while only 14% said they would travel more. This is a significant shift from previous years when more people said they would travel more.

The study also found that the type of trips USA staycationers are taking is changing. In 2020, the most popular types of trips were to visit family and friends, followed by beach vacations and camping trips. However, in 2022, the most popular type of trip will be to visit national parks. This is likely due to the fact that national parks are more affordable than other types of vacations.

So, if you're planning a trip in 2022, it's important to keep these changes in mind. Whether you're looking to save money or visit a new place, there are plenty of options for great staycations. Just be sure to do your research before you book anything.

What do you think of these changes? Are you more likely to travel in 2022?

Travelers in California, Tennessee, and Texas are looking to drive around 50% less in 2022 than in 2021 due to rising gas prices and other travel factors, a recent study has shown.

As always, there is context around numbers, stats, and surveys, but this chart is interesting because it shows that every state is looking at travel at least 40% less than in previous years.

Search on Google to see if listing websites have been created to list vacation properties with EV charging points.

And finally, Facebook groups are a great resource for this too.

Search for groups around electric cars, Tesla, or even EV charging points
