Okay, welcome back to the very special series where I am helping a host here in Javier, Get More Bookings. And we’ve got a little update to share with everybody. So as you know, one of the last times I spoke about the series that we’re doing of trying to get heads on beds for a host in the area, the Boostly tuneup series as we’re calling it, we were starting to do some more proactive marketing activities. And one of the things we’re doing is trying to get people to sign up to the email list. And I’ve got some good news. As you can see on the screen, if you’re watching this on the video, if you’re watching back on the audio or anywhere like that, listen on the audio whatnot, please do jump onto the YouTube video. And you can see that what we’ve done at the present moment in time, is I’m glad to say that 18 people have subscribed to the email list. Now you may be thinking well 18 people that’s not a lot. Well, if you think about it, if each of these 18 subscribers end up taking a bookign and say on average bring in 1000 euros per booking, that’s 18,000 euros of direct revenue, no commission to pay coming in. Now, obviously, I’m not gonna say every single person is going to book but this is the power that you have.
What we will do next
So what we’re going to do next is that we are going to send out a very effective email, but so many people don’t do. And everybody that is part of the Boostly content creator has access to this template right now, is we’re going to send him an email saying Do you know anyone? So this is basically part of a referral series that we like to do, visit one of the email templates, everything has been created by an expert copywriter, all the hosts, all they have to do is swap out the bits that they want to swap out keeping the bits they want to keep, and anything can blue, they can personalize as much or as little as they want. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to send this email out here to all 18 people that have subscribed to the list. Now, I’m not going to show you each of the individual people that have signed up for obviously for data reasons. But each of the guests what we’ve done is we’re going to tag them so we’ve tagged them dependent on the year that they’ve stayed so over 2018 2019 2020 and if anybody has yet to arrive on 2021. And what we’re going to do is for each of these, we’re going to personalize, personalize them as much as we possibly can and send this out now one of the big things that will We’re doing here is because we’re asking for a referral for a recommendation. We’ve also put in a little bit of an incentive. So we know totally what it is like when you ask for something, it always works a lot better if you’ve got a little bit of a carrot to dangle at the event. So that’s exactly what we’re doing here with this.
So I’m really excited to see what happens, I’m excited to share back the results. And this is just the start of the proactive activities, marketing activities that we’re doing behind the scenes. And again, for most hosts to feel like they would have to create that copy is really hard. So this is why a big part of Boostlt content creator is there, we’ve got nearly 10 email templates talking about 10 different situations. And it really helps. We’ve got people that are reporting double, entire bookings, wins, double wins all the time.
