We become envious and it could be the trigger for us to take action, whether that is buying the latest phone, finally joining the gym, or booking that holiday we’ve been craving…

And there’s a name for it…F.O.M.O.


Fear Of Missing Out.

The below email templates use F.O.M.O by suggesting that everyone else is having a holiday and if they’re not quick they might miss out.

Coupled with letting your subscribers know that you’ve blocked out some dates especially for them…(Making them feel special)

But they’re filling up fast. (Using scarcity)

The Emails

Below there is a long-form email and a short one. You can use them separately or in a series a few days apart (Send email 1, then email 2).

Subject: (Name) I’ve blocked these dates for you

Having trouble finding somewhere to go on holiday/vacation in [insert year]?
