How To Get More Corporate Bookings

Cold Outreach

Typically, cold email outreach is known, hands down, as one of the hardest to crack when it comes to getting new clients.

Because really, when you think about it, you're a stranger to those you are reaching out too.

However, the good news is that although it may be a struggle…

It's certainly NOT impossible.

In fact, I believe it can actually work in your favour as you get to give that all-important first impression.

And if done “right” you'll be remembered forever (For better or worse) What's the trick?
#1 Stand out
And…

#2 Make the email sound if you're speaking directly to your prospect.

You see, every day, your prospects receive email after email, droning on about “how great their companies are” and “how we're done, this that and the other.”

(Not to mention writing like a robot and bring the reader to tears.) The Truth…

Your prospect couldn't give a monkey about YOU. All they care about is how your service will help THEM.

That means your email should cut back on your achievements and instead:

  • ●  Talk about what they get out of the arrangement.
  • ●  Talk about the problems you're solving in their life. And last but not least…

● Talk to them like they're a friend.

Which brings me onto another essential point…

Who Are You Actually Talking To?

Now, think about it for a moment…

Chances are most emails aren't going to get to the Head Honcho 1st time, as they’re usually filtered through someone first.

Now, I heard many names for these people over the years, but as I don't want to offend anyone… Let's just call them the “Gatekeepers.”

These could be:

  • ●  Receptionists
  • ●  Secretaries
  • ●  Personal Assistants
  • ●  The H.R DepartmentThe list goes on…No matter who they are, we need to get past these people and get your offer to the decision-maker.

(Of course, if you've done your detective work and managed to get hold of the Bosses email…Then as long as what your offering pushes the right buttons, then you're home free.)

Bottom line your email should be so compelling that the person reading it can't help but pass it on or book that meeting.

    How To Use The Templates?

To personalise to each client all you have to do is fill in the Blue parts with the relevant information.

Take a look at all 3 options (A, B, C) and choose which email suits you best.

Subject: One Common Mistake (Company Type) Companies Make With Travel Expenses Subject: Simplest Way To Cut (Company) Expenses Costs By The End Of (Month) Subject: Save Time, Hassel, And Most Importantly, Money At (Company)

Hi (Name)
I’m no mind reader, but I can already tell what you're thinking…
“Is this going to be one of those so “sales” emails I’ll delete immediately?” The Truth…
Yes, Annnnnnd No…
Yes, because it is a pitch (kind of)…
But so “salesy” and that you delete immediately…
I hope not
In fact, I believe it’s well worth your while to at least hear me out.
So, with that, I have a couple of questions…
Do your staff ever have to stay in hotels for work?
And…

If you could save (Company) LOTS of money immediately when doing this would you at least look into it?

Is that a Yes?
Great
Well, allow me to introduce ourselves… We’re (Company Name Description)… Example: (2 Sentence Max)

We’re EasyStay and are a UK Wide Property Management Outfit who specialise in providing high quality accommodation for those companies whose staff and clients travel regularly around the UK.

And Me…
I’m (Your Name) and my job is to reach out and let you know the many benefits of what we do…

And The ONE negative (More on that later)

So, what are a few benefits for (Company):

  • –  Huge Cost Saving: With the average hotel room in the UK setting you back around £90, Monthly company expenses can escalate quickly. Alternatively, we have solutions that will dramatically drop that figure in the next 30 days.
  • –  Huge Time Savings: The average booking takes 43 minutes from start to finish. Which when added up is a lot of time wasted in monthly that could be used for something more productive.
  • –  Huge “Hassle” Savings: No more dealing with faceless 3rd party booking platforms and frustrating help bots. Instead, you’ll deal with an ACTUAL human that can sort out your needs with just one email. Now, I could go on…
However, I’m sure you got lots to get on with, so I'll leave it there.

However, I would like to grab 15 minutes of your time this week just to determine precisely how we could help.

Click The Link Here (LINK) and book in an informal “non-salesy” chat.

Because let's be honest…

15 minutes in exchange for a possible £1 000’s worth of savings isn't a bad deal is it…

Well, all that's left to say is Thank You for your time (Name) and I hope I kept my word…

(That the email wasn't too “Salesy” and didn't get deleted straight away either)

Enjoy Your (Day)

P.S

Ahhhh yes… I nearly forgot the ONE negative about my proposal…

They won’t be visited by housekeeping every morning your staff may be forced to make their own bed…(Sorry guys)

Yes, I’ll admit…A bit of a weird title for an email…
Don’t worry…No need to call the police.

I’ll explain…

I recently passed (Location) and noticed one of your work vehicles in the car park and a light bulb went off in my head…

Now, I’m no Sherlock Holmes but I'm guessing that if you had one member of staff travelling for business, there’s a pretty good chance they’d be others.

(As I said…No Sherlock Holmes…)

If this is in fact true…
The good news?
I can:

Follow Up Email

You’ve made the initial introduction with your first email. And fingers crossed you received a reply straight away… That might not have been the case though.

So, just to remind them we send a 2nd email approaching the subject from a whole different angle.

This should be sent 24-48 hrs after the first while your company is still fresh in their mind.

Email 2: Follow Up

Subject: Keeping The Staff At (Company) Happy
Subject: The One Thing In (Company) That's Just As Important As Profits Subject: Making (Company) Successful Starts With This One Thing

Hi (Name)
In your opinion, what makes a company successful? Some would say…

  • –  Getting New Clients
  • –  Reducing Expenses
  • –  Increasing The Bottom LineAnd yeah, these all play a part…But without this ONE thing then all of the above just wouldn't happen…

    Which is…

    Keeping Your Staff Happy.

And when they’re away, travelling for work that becomes just that little bit more difficult.

Whether it's for events, training or just not at home for days on end, you want (Company) staff be comfortable as possible…Which means finding them a decent place to stay.

However, getting the balance between quality accommodation and good value can be a tough one.

If you get it wrong, then you might have an annoyed staff or even worse…or a “pissed off” client on your hands. (Excuse my French)

So, imagine the relief KNOWING that the place you’ve put them ticks all the boxes EVERY time. Boxes like…

– Space To Swing A Cat: A hotel room will suffice for one night… But for longer stays…

Having space to decompress after meetings, events, and tradeshow makes being away from home…That little bit easier.

  • –  A Work Area That Isn’t Your Bed: There may be times when you’ll still have to carry on with your duties while away. Having an actual place to work and a reliable WIFI connection will make all the difference.
  • –  A Home From Home: Living out of a suitcase isn't fun, and even being able to wash your clothes is luxury when being away from home without spending “an arm and a leg” on laundry services. And Yes, of course, Travelodge/Premier Inn living has its perks…(Who doesn’t like having their bed made for them every morning…)

But even that after a few days, the novelty wears a little thin and you’d rather have somewhere that you could REALLY relax.

Which is exactly what (Your Company) can provide…
(Not to mention the drop in your monthly expenses and the hassle of using 3rd party booking

    sites.)
Just Click This Link (LINK) to schedule that casual, no-obligation chat and we can go from

Subject: We’re Halfway There (Almost) Hi (Name)

So, I've been told “apparently” when contacting companies like (Company) the average time it takes to get a response is 7 emails….

Bad News…

If I was to follow that advice, we’d only be halfway there. But don’t worry as here is The Good News…
This will be my LAST email.
Because the truth Is…

I really don’t like bothering people.

That doesn't mean I don't think wouldn't benefit massively from just having a casual chat with me…

It’s just I feel like 3 emails are enough to get our message out.
So, with that…I’ll leave you alone.
