All right, welcome back, everybody to the Boostly podcast and to a very special Boostly tune-up series. I am helping Louisa Get more engagement social media following and to grow an email list. And the best way to do that, as I've always preached is through social media giveaways.
As explained in Episode One of this little mini-series, we are not doing this solely on Facebook or solely on Instagram. Because there is a lot of problems right now with scammers and bots and getting your guests your future potential guests or your followers' credit card information which is not good for building relationships and trust in the whole process.

So what we're doing is I'm using a software called King Sumo, it takes everything off Facebook, it helps grow your email list and gets more awareness at the same time. And over the last few episodes, I've shown you how to create an account, it's free, how to connect to a free MailChimp account, it's free, and how to get started is also free, which is beautiful. None of this cost any money.
Now, the giveaway is now live, what I'm going to do is I'm going to show you how simple is to enter. And I'm going to show you on what to do next. So I've come into this in incognito mode. I'm going to enter one of my email addresses. And I'll show you what somebody gets on the next screen. Now what I love about King Sumo as well is that they even make it simple. People can enter with their Facebook account, which is really cool. You people ask me at this stage, well what email address do I get, and it's the one that's associated with their Facebook account. So anyway, I'm going to enter with one of my email addresses. And as you can see it froze a bit of confetti down, congratulations you're in, check your inbox and confirm your email to be eligible to win which is key and get even more entries by completing these actions.
So as you can see here, they can share it on Twitter, and they will get free referral points. Let me click that here. It will take me into Twitter, okay after login, etc, etc. But I can share it on there. And then once I do that, I will get the additional referrals, share on Facebook, share messages sent an email, like us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram, visit our site. And this is one of the free ones. This will take you to App Sumo. If you don't want that you just got to upgrade on King Sumo. Let me just double-check. So I am 100% honest information.
If you wanted to upgrade the price is a one-time fee of $50. Which is not bad. And then you can get rid of that one.
That one that's in No, it takes him to appsumo.com, which is obviously not the best. Now, one thing I wanted to show you, if you want to get rid of the referral links here, email and whatnot, you can do, you just come in. And if you click these away,
you will only be left with the actions that you want. So if I come in here, and I update it, I come back into here and I hit refresh. What you'll notice is that those ones at the top disappear. So if you didn't want to have the ones that King Sumo recommend, then you just go in tick on tick days, and it will take them away. And again, if you want to add them in. So for example, email, you come in, you click Save. And this is the beauty of it is it changes instantly, changes instantly.

Okay. So what we are going to do now on here is that I am going to put up a social media post a Facebook post, and we're going to replicate it on Instagram.
And it's going to be like this. So I've just added a picture the pictures of the prizes. And it's a real simple question who would like to win some of our favourites here, information on how is in the first comment. So this is really important that we do this, because if you put any links in your social media post, this is really important. If you put any links in your social media post here, Facebook will instantly make sure that less people can see it, why Facebook, want people to spend more time on Facebook. So if you put any web links on here, taking them off-platform, then they are going to strangle the reach. Obviously, if you give them money, then they're going to boost it. But I don't want anybody to give Facebook any money here. So all I've done here is I've put this and I'm going to go to the first comment. And all I'm going to put in here is the link to our giveaway. That's all I'm going to do is going to be the link to our giveaway to enter our giveaway. Head to. really simple now if you want to put a little bitly link on there to make it look prettier you can do. It's totally up to you. But now we've got this lovely little post
Anybody who follows the page will come to it. Now, what I'm gonna do is I'm going to grab this. And as we know, with Facebook, the more people that like and comment and engage in this post, then the more visible this post will go. So all I'm going to do is I'm going to come into my giveaway here. Remember, I explained yesterday about bonus entries. So what we're going to do is we're going to click on here, we're going to click on, click a link, the text is going to be like, comment, and share this post, you're gonna put the link into the Facebook. And if they do that, we're going to get 10 entries, which then looks really cool. So when somebody is on this page, they will, they will see, like, comment and share this post 10 entries, then they're going to click on it. And when they click on to it, they come into Facebook. So again, we're utilizing the giveaway, we're utilizing the psychology of Facebook giveaways, to get more people to come back to it.
Now when I say I am now the user, when they come into here and when they come back on to their emails, they're going to get this little email come in from King Sumo, to say confirm your entry. They click on that, and they're confirmed. And the beautiful thing about King Sumo, the beautiful thing about this software is that the more times that they enter, it will all be taken care of for you.
So when you start to come into here, you'll be able to see how many contestants how many entries and the more bigger number this gets 100 200 1000 the new number more times that your business is being shared around the internet. So the more times that your business is being spoken about. So this is the beautiful part of it is that it's being talked about virally on many different platforms, whether it's instagram, facebook, etc. And then tomorrow, what I'm going to do is I'm going to show you on how you can keep a giveaway, active and present and known for the next few days.
Because this is the most important part of a giveaway is to get as many people as possible coming back to here. So I'm going to finish off in this little giveaway series showing you how to make sure that you keep people coming back to here time and time again. So you can have more people entering and they will become your marketers for you. It's free. It's easy. It's simple. It just needs for you to be consistent over these five to seven days, however long that you're going to run this, this giveaway for.
