How can Facebook Chatbots be the future of the Hospitality Industry?

I want to tell you about something that is going to influence the hospitality industry over the course of 2018.

This is an interesting snippet I spotted from a recent interview with the CMO of Booking.com, Pepijn Rijvers:

“We are looking at things that deliver a service to customers, such as WhatsApp-style chat which allows us to deliver instant gratification to customer queries.”

Facebook Chatbots are becoming a big deal for businesses. I’ve even started to experiment with one for this very website.

Think about it for a second: you have a guest arriving, and they are confused at what time they can check in or how to get directions to your property. Instead of them having to call you and take you away from something you are doing, they could instantly message your business Facebook page and communicate with your chatbot. Without you having to do anything, they would be able to get directions, check-in details, and also learn more about any upsell opportunities you may have.
