Hospitable review 2021

Isn't it annoying when you are listed on sites such as VRBO, and Airbnb. And you wake up in the morning, you check your phone, and you will see that there was an inquiry left at 2 am where a guest wanted to book a week, two weeks. And because you didn't get back to him like that he has gone on to somebody else who was awake at an ungodly hour. And they were able to take that booking, potential a lot of revenue missed out on that.

A tool that can help you

So the company that was recommended to me by a good friend of the show, Danny from Optimize Your b&b was Hospitable. It was primarily created. And it was created for Airbnb hosts. And it was a total third party. And what it did is it would work as an automated messaging service. And I've always known it as just being an Airbnb, but they have grown and I first came across these in 2018 implemented it for a one on one client I was working with in Bali when we lived there in 2019 and has just always been on the peripheral.

It turns out, they've evolved and grown a lot over the last few years, which is fantastic to see. And now they link up to VRBO, they link up to booking.com. And they're also trying to do more direct things as well. So as soon as I heard the directness of all right, well, I've got to speak about them.

How Hospitable works

So the way that it works is that when you're asleep, say one o'clock in the morning, and for whatever reason, if an inquiry comes in, you can set up the automations and the keywords in place behind the scenes and it will interact with you on your behalf directly in the inbox. If somebody has an inquiry come in, they will be able to respond based on your keywords. And whereas you may sleep on what could be a big booking, one week, two week a month, this will deal with it for you.

How much does Hospitable cost?

Now, it's very very cost-effective for one property. It's $20 a month which is fantastic. And you know, there are some people that I know who have saved not only revenue, made more revenue, but also as well save so many man-hours by not having to manually be there. Now, what they're also building out is I've got the pre and post a, which is obviously great, but we're always trying to evolve and figure things out.

Now, the cool thing is, is that they are not a PMS, they are not a channel manager,, like they are the guest communication tool. And they are working very closely with booking.com to be integrated more into their system, which is tricky, I know, but it's working.

Benefits of Hospitable

And the way that I like to describe it is that this could potentially stop you from having to hire a VA, But I reckon about 80 to 90% of your time will be taken care of from it. But there's always still that 10-20%, you're going to have to look at it. So number one, helps you make more money. Number two helps you to have to hire VA. number three, what it will do is if your PMS has API connection, like Uplisting, and etc, then it can sync into that it will also be able to sync and obviously to your channels. And it will have a guest communication all in one place. So instead of you having to hop from app to app to app, it will integrate directly. And and this is this is a really effective tool. That means that again, you won't have to sleep on any potential bookings.

If you ever do sign up in the future, you're supporting the channel, but don't feel like you don't have to absolutely not. Go check out the features, the solutions, the pricing. And again, even if you just set it up and just run it for, say six months. Again, it's if you've got two properties, one to two property, one property 20 euro a month to property 28. Three properties, four properties 36. So let's see if we do 36 divided by six, even if you give it a go, that is just 216 euros over six months.

If you can get somebody that inquires and makes a booking a one-two weeks, three-week booking, that's it instant return on investment plus much, much, much, much, much more. So again, I love it. Like I say I've been messing with it and with clients and whatnot. And we've been really able to sort of get some revenue in there. And obviously, the beautiful part of it is that with the sort of technology and tools, you can then start to get a guest for the door, get their email address, get their contact details and start to rebook to them to get them directly in the future which is obviously what we're all about on here.

So Hospitable do go check them out. definitely worthwhile giving it six months giving it a go getting it set up. If you're looking to hire a VA, again, to do this sort of side of thing, it could save you a big cost there. And also as well if you are finding that you are missing inquiries because you're not sharp off the boil straight like that, then this sort of technology will be great for you.
