Did you know that 96% of people that land on the homepage of your website are not ready to buy? Now that is a recent survey and study that was done by HubSpot. So I wanted to give you in this episode in this daily episode, a quick tip that you can do, I guarantee that so many of you are not doing right now.

Tip for your website
96% of people that arrive on your website are not ready to buy right now. So what does that mean, the best thing that you can do is try and capture their data so that you can stay top of mind, the most easiest simplest way of doing so is by getting an email marketing software, the one that I recommend is MailChimp, and what it does for free is it gives you the ability to grow your email list and send out emails. And one of the things that I love is that they give you a very easy to create a signup form. So what you do is you go and create the signup form, you grab the little link that they will give you is called a hyperlink. And you can put it on your website homepage. If you’re a bit more tech-savvy, we’ll give you what’s called an HTML code. Now it does look a bit confusing, but it’s basically of copy and paste, you’ll get the first name, you’ll get the email address, and then once the person gives it to you, then that means that they will join your email list. Now, once you’ve done that, the trick is to actually use it and email people well that’s for another episode. But the best place to do that is to put it on your homepage. Now you can just put join our email list because nobody will join you’ve got to give them a reason why to so it could be check out our tips and advice on places to visit in your area. It could be get our top five best recipes for x if you’ve got you know if you’re a really good chef and you know you’re well known for making fantastic dishes, you’ve got to give somebody a reason why to join.
So that is why what I recommend that you do go and look at what other hosts are doing go look at their websites go look at what they’re it’s called a lead magnet. Okay, go look at what their lead magnet is. I’ve seen some fantastic examples over the past I’ve seen some crappy examples over the past, the best thing to do is go have a look and then go and set it up.
That’s what you need to be doing 96% of people that’s a lot of people, a lot, a lot of people’s for every 10 people 9.6 of them and not ready to buy, there’s loads of things that you can do to change that 96 from a looker into a booker.
